Are you interested in alternative healthcare, but don't know where to begin? Do you want to replace some of the chemicals in your cleaning supplies with natural alternatives that won't pollute your home? Would you like to find out more about solar panels and green architecture?
Then the Hunterdon Holistic Society's Going Green & Holistic Expo is for you!
Sunday, May 4th, HHS will host an afternoon of alternatives from noon until four. Food supplements, chiropractic, energy healing, herbs, acupuncture, massage, Reiki, solar energy, raw foods, and green architecture are just a few of the alternative modalities that will be represented. Chat with local practitioners and vendors about all that they offer at the Clinton Community Center on Halstead Street and gather tips about Going Green.
Several non-profits will also be on hand that day, so help make the world a better place by bringing donations of dry pet food for New Jersey AniMeals, consider adopting a cat, or find out more about vaccination choices.
The $3 donation at the door will go toward the work of GreenFaith, an organization that promotes the healing of the planet through faith-based groups and others. Founder, Rev. Fletcher Harper, will speak at 1 p.m. It is sure to be an interesting talk about all that we can do to help return the earth to a more pristine state. (www.greenfaith.org
